USAF EMERGENCY AIRFIELD LIGHTING SYSTEM (EALS-B)

The Emergency Airfield Lighting System (EALS) is used extensively by the US Air Force and allied forces throughout the world. It provides lighting for expeditionary airfields and other locations that need a temporary solution. When installed, the EALS provides a full complement of airfield lighting components for runways up to 10,000 ft. long. The system is trailer-mounted, rapidly installable and easily transportable. It is completely self-contained and includes all power and control equipment needed to operate the lights. Tactical Lighting sells full EALS-B systems, EALS-B component parts and provides EALS-B training.

SECURE WIRELESS CONTROL AND MONITORING SYSTEM

Consists of radios, interface modules and a central laptop control panel. Controls and monitors airfield lighting systems or other equipment on and around an airfield. The radio has received US Military Communications-Electronics Board (MCEB) approval for operation in the military frequency spectrum (360 to 400 Mhz) and incorporates advanced cybersecurity controls. The interface module allows for easy integration into many different equipment types.

FULLY RUGGED CONSTANT CURRENT REGULATOR

The Tactical Lighting CCR provides an FAA AC 150/5345-10 compliant constant current output capable of powering airfield lighting circuits of up to 20kW. While most CCRs are designed for operation in an electrical vault, the fully rugged CCR is suitable for continuous outdoor operation in extreme environmental conditions. It is designed for use in a mobile system and can withstand the shock and vibration associated with being trailer-mounted and towed in Type II terrain.

MODULAR TRAILER SYSTEMS

High capacity, Type II military trailers perfectly sized for integration into military transport systems. Optional drawers, containers and cable reels enable mobility and storage for a wide variety of equipment.
